I've been a writer and artist all my life and have explored many art forms, both personally and professionally. Because sculpting has always been my first love, making jewelry was a natural progression.
All of my work is about exploration and discovery - inner and outer. I prefer the primitive or naive approach. Always, there is this feeling of wanting to be free - not bound by social convention or rules, and always there is a struggle to maintain this freedom while the work is in progress.

I prefer to use natural materials, adding man made and found objects that relate when a clear statement about the contrast between man and nature is needed. I rarely know what will find its way into a piece or what it will be or look like until it's done. Often, to get back to the roots of my own creativity, I revert to extremely simplistic methods.
It gives me great delight to make things that people will use or wear. To me, a piece is not really complete until someone is using it or likes it enough to want to have it as their own

I do have another online store: LaloBean... art for the Heart and Vintage Finds, which I opened in 2008. In 2010 I felt a need to have a separate place for jewelry, sculpture and my stories as well as accompanying artwork.
In addition, my "leetle grey cells" (as Monsieur Hercule Poirot, one of my most favorite detectives in literature would say), have already been manufacturing: ©TheLittleSilverFox Tales, which I hope to eventually illustrate and publish as children's stories, (unless of course they become too dark, in which case they will have to be R rated for adult audiences only).
